About Me

Marcell Larenz (born Marcell Larenz Johnson, January 25) is an American actor and musician who was raised in Chicago, Illinois. He’s currently studying acting (tv/film, theatre, and commericals) with currently no agency or union representation.

He is best known for his hosting and DJing of urban events throughout the Chicago area and surrounding suburbs. Since then, he has evolved as an entertainer; now acting and singing full-time as a permanent career choice.

Marcell has appeared in cable TV-series, Friends & Lovers; directed by award-winning filmmaker, Maurice Jamal (creator, writer, and director of 2008's Dirty Laundry); also, currently recording his first album.

Marcell made his theatrical debut when he was cast as "Charles", the lead male role in the hit stage play, "Money Factor".

Being very passionate about acting and his goals, Marcell is very excited as he continues to pursue his life long dream of being a successful working entertainer.
