I love Photography. Cliche, I know. But its true, that I am always thinking about it, and often catch myself paying more attention to the way light is falling in a room than to a conversation. I've worked as a production assistant to a well known commercial photographer, for far less than I was making when I took that job. I have done countless "freebies" and jobs so cheap they ended up costing me money, in the hopes that I would become a better photographer and help me make the contacts I would need to support myself with my art. For all that I spend far less time shooting and printing than I would like. but despite that, I am a photographer. And anyone that says any different, is not worth my time.

My Dad, who always supports my photography, or at a minimum does his best to. For all the long talks scheming of grandiose lighting set ups and DIY equipment, I love that I can always talk to you about my art with out feeling silly.

Paul Souter (As grumpy and crusty as you are, and although you made me work on your building rather than with a camera, and as little actual help as you gave, you did challenge me, and gave me enough google fodder to make me a far better photographer.)

Dave Hutchinson For taking me under your wing, even if the business side of things isn't my forte. The shoots we have done together have given me a taste of where I would like to be when I retire from the 9 to 5 and can supplement my retirement with small business.
