Hello everyone! My name is Jannet, I was born and raised in Texas (I live in Fort Worth)! No, not all of us ride on horses and act like wild hillbillies! Lol  I’m far from that, actually the total opposite! I have always wanted to set myself apart from the “country” lifestyle and pursue a career in fashion. The branch I so happen to love in this fabulous industry is doing MAKEUP! I truly love what I do, it comes to me so naturally. It’s not just makeup to me, it’s an art! In every service that I do I put 110% of me into it, and my passion def shows in my work!

A lil’ about my background…

I graduated from OGLE Beauty School in ’06, I  have my esthetician’s license!  Did I learn how to do makeup there?….no actually, they showed us nothing but a color wheel.
I’ve worked in this industry for 4 years now doing my own freelancing and working for beauty retailers and cosmetic counters (such as: MAC & Smashbox Cosmetics to name a few).  I have done some photo shoots, weddings and proms on the side the last 3years. Over this time I developed my own technique and learned so much!

I decided to go by 1luv artistry 2yrs ago, because well its all in the name ONE LOVE and it‘s unique (like me and my work). Makeup is my passion and I love it. My dream in the future is to have my own studio w/ a team of artists and photographers. Showing the world what we do best and just making the world beautiful one face at a time!

But til then….

I am wanting to get back where I left off. I left this profile abandoned for almost a yr because I had my first child and just took a break. But NOW I am soo ready to get back to working! I’m in the process of building my portfolio and I wanna have fun and get some shoots going!

I’m definitely up to do any shoots in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. So anyone who needs makeup for a portfolio or just wants to experiment with a look or idea, let me know I would love to be apart of your project!
For Shoots I will settle for “TFP/TFCD”

Also I am available to do any special occasions such as proms, weddings and pageants.
