Cheers! I am Nicole and Kamea Nikol Photography is who I am. Sounds goofy..I know. I am mostly goofy, inspiring, soft spoken (hardly) crazy and loud and lots of fun, sometimes moody so mostly a typical artistic woman, lol.
I am a mother and a photographer, neither one have ever really felt like a job just more of a lifestyle. I have lots of goals and aspirations!! YAY (we all gotta have dreams, right?) My 'BIG' dream is to work with babies to young teens doing ad work, for companies like Baby Gap, Forever 21, Gap Kids, Gymboree...you get the point. I seem to have the gift of working with babies and children and half nude models. I know...I know, what an odd combo. But it is what it is. I love working with models and doing Artistic nudes or suggested nudes, more on the classy side. I can make "almost" anyone look like a model, I call it the ugly duckling syndrome (and dont think thats harsh) its where maybe someone is either very pretty in person and takes 'ehhh' pictures or maybe your just an average looking person- either way I can make you look like a beautiful sexy super model. When you leave your session with me your self-esteem is soaring! It makes me feel good to make you feel good about yourself...Oh yea another dream of mine would be working for Playboy. I would love to make beautiful sexy images! Vanity Fair is another magazine I would love to work for, maybe thats due to the already amazing photographers they have but...Ive always been told to put yourself around the people you want to be like...like does attract like and thoughts are things so...Go for it!

I want to work with many inspiring people from MUA, to HAIRstylists to DESIGNERS of clothing and sets, I am on my way to the top and I want to find the right people to bring with me, in the meantime I have no problems helping people build your port. You scratch my back and I will scratch yours. And it doesnt hurt that we can always learn new things from someone.

I am currently living in the Tampa Bay area here in Florida but I do a lot of travelling to the Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area, I am planning on relocating there as soon as I am done with my AA degree.
I am looking for some awesome MUA in that area looking to build or expand your port. Some jobs to start will either be zero to minimal pay so I can see your talent and then the jobs will start to pay more for all involved including me :) Also I am looking for a few Hairstylists who specialize in Vintage Do's :) It is helpful if you are awesome and efficent I like my make-up to take no longer then 15 min, but I do make exceptions for certain projects. Mostly because I like to treat all my sessions as if we were being paid BIG bucks and keep it as professional as possible but laid back, and yes its possible to mix the 2.

Basically, I love to travel and I would love to have a network of people in many areas of the world to be able to collaborate with when I am in those areas. I do have my own certain style but I ask my team for ideas, what would you like to see....Its not all about me (I learned that the hard way loooong ago, lol) I have found that it takes a village to raise a child, and it takes a great team to make great things happen!

So in my personal life I am a single mom with 2 wonderfully crazy beautiful kids and in our household "Funner" is a word! I take a lot of pictures of my kids, and for the most part they dont mind too too much, lol. I like to try new lighting techniques on them. Hey I figure it this way....God gave me built in models a way for me to hone my skills. I am a student on top of a mom working on finishing my AA degree in fine arts and then I will be moving on to a BA in either photography or fine arts but either way in the end of it all I will hold a Masters. Thats my personal goal.

On the side I shoot weddings, engagements, NEWBORNS (my fav), family sessions, kids, artistic nudes, compcard sessions, headshots, boudoir, couples sessions from regular to sexy, I do lots of things, but I try to stick with what I am good at. At times I do events as well.

I used to have an active Model Mayhem account but I guess since I wasnt using it for a while they deleted me...So here I am with my second round, I plan on making more time to network. Somehow life got in the way...we all know how that goes.
