I have been an artist since I was six years old, painting both portraits and landscapes in oils. I have studied extensively at workshops throughout the city, such as the Art Students League, and I have developed a keen sensitivity to composition and to the subtle and beautiful effects of light and shading.  Digital photography is my new great passion and I seek to apply my artistic painterly vision to the photographic realm.  I indulge my love of this medium through further studies at at the ICP, International Center of Photography, in New York.  I am interested in painting with light and designing an image that is artistic and sculptural in quality. I want a portrait to feel both intimate and revealing, be full of drama, and capture a magical moment. I am a radiologist by profession, and I have a strong natural visual talent which permeates all my endeavors.
