Essentially, I'm a self-taught photographer out of the Twin Cities. I've been in this at a serious level for about a year and a half now, and it's been a fantastic ride so far. At some point down the road I would like to make a living out of photography on my own, with no expressive limits imposed upon me by outside forces. I love shooting on location and utilizing what's available, because it's like a way of customizing every shoot and making things more personal with my subject. The more offbeat and outgoing they are, the better!

I believe in a direct correlation between personality and beauty, and that any aesthetic can be overcome if the right person comes along to capture and share it.

There is not a thing in this world I hate more than narcissists; they are beyond frustrating to deal with and are almost always mistaken at the amount of "talent" they possess. Yes CJD Photo, I mean you. Get over yourself; even if you had the talent you thought you did, it would mean nothing when you act like an asshole to the rest of the world in your search for a "worthy" model.

I've been working at a studio since early last year, but am progressively adding freelance shoots to my schedule in order to build my portfolio.

As far as collaborations go, I'm not at any stage where I can pay a model or makeup artist, but I'm certainly willing to do TFCD shoots with anyone for portfolio building or just for the hell of it. I'm a fan of unusual makeup (especially sparkly stuff and colors that coordinate well) and I try to make each freelance shoot different from the last.
