About Me

**MODELING**

I have plenty of experience in fashion from avante-garde to commercial.  In this area, I have worked with several underground designers, which is all of the work currently featured on my page.  However, my favorite focus in modeling is when I have had the opportunity to work for other fine artists, such as Terry Rodgers and Mike Hill.  Matt Odom is an excellent and extremely innovative photographer and videographer that I also have worked with.

I am quite eager to go a much more creative direction with my modeling, especially to complement my own personal creative career.  One of my favorite photographers, to give you the idea, is David LaChapelle or Bryan Adams ;o)

**ART**

I proudly hold a BFA in Fine Arts from Columbus College of Art and Design.  One of my focuses is on small-scale jewelry metals, meaning my jewelry designs that I individually create strictly with raw materials.  To clarify, I make every link on all of my chains, I carve and cast all of my beads and designs, I set all of my stones, and each and every piece is always unique and has meaning.  No disrespect to the bead-stringers, but this isn't a simple hobby of mine, but a true passion, talent and personal career that I am working very hard at building.

I am also a painter, mainly using the mediums of oil, encaustic, and mixed media.  As of late, I have been heavily influenced by ancient Eastern art forms, particularly that of Tibetan Buddhism.  My ever-evolving style is infusing and juxtaposing these exotic and inspiring images with my life, ideas and personal experiences.  Such as relating Tibetans' female buddhas to the women in my life and myself. I'm working on a pop culture satire series right now, featuring modern female pop stars.

Portraits, landscapes, intricate patterns and intense use of colors are trademarks of mine, as they are also my strengths.

I have gratefully been privileged enough to dabble in all forms of art, including ceramics, glassblowing, wood working, sculpture, collaborative pieces, and photography (which I love doing, just don't give enough attention to).

Art is my constant and I do strongly believe that it is positive in every aspect and only furthers my knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the world around me.
