About Me

My current project is making tintypes and ambrotypes using the original wet plate collodion photo process. I am looking for models and collaborators for a variety of images.

I'm a commercial photographer. I live and work in Reno, Nevada. Although I frequently use the landscape of my home state as my backdrop, I also have a studio space near downtown Reno:

About my rates, and how I work:

My photographic approach is very detail oriented. I spend time lighting, retouching, and perfecting every image that I create. I put quality before quantity. I don't shoot hundreds of images in a day...but I do make sure that all of my work is of the same high quality that you see in my portfolio.

Price varies depending on the specifics of the shoot and usage rights needed. I base my figures on the number of final images, including retouching and color correction. A professional discount is available to models.

About TFP:

I always appreciate TFP offers. It's quite a complement that so many people want to work with me. However, due to the same time and economic constraints that we all work within, I rarely accept TFP assignments. Exceptions to the rule are a) if I need a model for a fine art project or series, and b) if you have an incredibly unique concept that I'm really excited about.
