Hi my name is Denise and I am obsessed with makeup...I love what can be done with it and will never fall out of love with it! I am looking to work with people who are as serious as I am about what they do...You and me together, lets make it happen:)

Since Denise was a little girl she has always been fascinated with makeup.To her, makeup was like forbidden fruit because her mother wouldn't allow her to wear it. Once Denise went off to College she was finally able to explore the forbidden fruit and love every bit of it.She became obsessed with makeup and loved that it had no limits. Conflicted between the love makeup plus wanting to be a clinical social worker, Denise decided to get her Masters and pursue makeup artistry at the same time. Days that she wasn't in school she freelanced. From watching youtube makeup tuturials to being an assistant to various makeup artists, Denise was able to build a name for herself and gain a unique style as a makeup artist. When she was in school, makeup was on her mind and when she was doing makeup, school was on her mind. Not wanting to give either one up she decided to pursue both interest. Unlike most she was able to use her intellectual side along with her artistic side. In the midst of pursuing both interest she was able to combine the two and use makeup while counseling as a theraeputic way to help women who had experienced domestic violence and low self images. Today she continues to explore and embrace all that there is to learn about makeup. She has high hopes that one day she will work back stage at Fashion Week. Not only does she love what she does, she is passionate about it. When it comes to being a makeup artist she wants to take it to the top!!!
