Current Work:
I'm looking to do at least four photo shoots in the next month.
(In addition to these that follow I'm willing to do other shoots, these are just the kinds of shoots I'm craving and WONT say no to!)

One shoot (possibly more depending on how many are interested) will be a renaissance festival themed shoot. If you are interested you do need a costume, or you need to be female and about my size so that you can use one of my costumes.

and I'd very much like to do an interesting shoot involving these goggles. I'd prefer someone who has taken gymnastics or break dancing before, because the poses I'm coming up with in my head require balance and coordination.

The second two shoots I'm cooking up actually require actual couples, or people who can act like a couple and make that acting show through on the film.

Long well thought out bio:
Well hello there everyone! I'm a nineteen year old amature photographer from south Houston. I know that doesn't sound to terribly impressive but I'm slowly on my way to doing this for a living. I went to a highschool for the arts but it wasen't for my current passion, it was for the vocal arts. After the first two years of be encouraged to sing beautifully and dress conservativly I picked up a camera and detured from my first great love. The second two years of my highschool career I continued to sing but I found it much more interesting to spend my days in music class taking pictures of my fellow students as they persued music.

After graduating highschool I decided to take a year off from school all together. That proved to be rather detrimental to my photography. You see... in highschool there was something new to take a picture of every single day... but at home and at work there is very little out of the norm I can photograph except for my boyfriend and he is quite camera shy.

I've done a couple of gigs in which I was paid to take pictures but those occur very few and far apart because I'm not a proffesional. That's alright though, I much rather prefer working with models and getting MY photos instead of taking pictures of people I don't know for a couple of bucks. Its never been about the money, its always been about the photography. When I get together with models it will most likely be for little to no compensation... I'm a starving artist as it is... paying a model would put me in the poor house. However, I have learned a very good practice from my boyfirend who makes short films. In lew of compensation I would be willing to provide transportation and a meal or two to anyone who would like to work with me as a model from time to time. This being not such a glamorous pay, I know this form of compensation will make it hard for me to find models, but I'm hoping there is someone on this site who lives in my area who has the time to get their picture taken a couple times and get a little free food. I have now learned this is what you all call "TFP" I would be more then willing to provide prints, or a cd of the photos and such to any model who will work with me, thats just good form.

I would call up some of my old models and coordinate a photo shoot but, they've all gotten caught up with their busy college lives and are also scattered all about the country. I'm in dire need of models and inspiration so thats what brought me here.

Shorthanded for those in a rush:

Experience: limited

Availability and scheduling: I'm available for last minute shoots for the next week. I'd love to do at least two photoshoots a day. Contact me, I might be available!

Compensation: A free meal and TFC I don't do prints, I just don't have the equipment.

Travel: The farthest I'm willing to travel for a photoshoot is Downtown Houston and the surrounding areas (U of H, West U, Hights, Woodlands etc.) Just because gas prices are so very high my trips into town will be rather few and far between.
