I've never liked the traditional  model perception or stereo type.  Egotistical, cocky, conceded, metro sexual or homosexual.  It probably scared me from entering this business at first. Its funny because I'm probably a lot like you.  Humble, quiet, easy going, like sports, poker face all the time.  Only difference is I'm not scared to admit it.  I generally channel my energy and fustration through the weightroom.  The result has been a nice physique which I've only recently taken notice too.

Which brings me to the next phase of my life where I'll use my physical extremities as a voice box.  An oppurtunity to change the overall perception or stereo type of what a model is, especially an African American Model.  Although I believe it is impossible to distinguish confidence from cockiness on a consistent bases, I believe being totally in touch with your unconcious mind (or your ego), automatically causes insecurities to disappear, which in turn promotes a true inner peace or true confidence.

Finding the balance between giving the people what they want, but only on my terms will be tough, but its a challenge I welcome with open arms.  Yeah, I'm probably a lot like you and were probably going to the same place, but Im going to get there on my terms.

I know my photographs are real amateurish right now to say the least, but dont lie, you see the potential.  In a subtle way I'm issuing my challenge to all you photographers out there to take my plain canvas and make me a work of art.  I have very little experience, but I believe my work ethic will make up for whatever I lack.  Theres a lot of models.  There is only one of me.
