Greetings,
I am Demetria Nicole, a young/mature model (age 35 but look 25 I'm told).  I am 'RE-ENTERING" the modeling field after a hiatus, during which time I needed to focus on family matters as well as professonal endeavors (outside of modeling)--in addition to modeling and pageantry, my other professional endeavors include teaching.  So the past three years were spent reestablishing my teaching career as I had been training teachers and attending graduate school prior to those three years. I did modeling while in graduate school (in Boston @ Harvard) and also when I got out; this was 5 years ago...so that is the last time I did a formal shoot.  I've done one calendar to date (called WOMEN OF MARTIAL ARTS) while in Boston.  Currently, the pictures you see posted on this site were taken by family members and show my variety of looks/hairstyles. My portfolio is "old" at this point but it does showcase the work I am capable of doing now.  I currently (June/July 2008) wear auburn/brown colored microbraids so my hairstyle can be worn down wavy/curly or pulled up tossled...it allows for more variety in my shoots...

I am seeking to UPDATE MY PORTFOLIO with as many looks as possible, via TFCD or TFP for now since I am reentering the field and need to reestablish some professionalism and credibility.  However, I will graciously accept paid assignments as well and I will work HARD no matter if I am paid with cash or with a CD/Prints.  I wish to work with reputable/experienced photogs who are gracious enough to accept such a humble request.  My preferences right now are: headshots, glamour/elegance, editorial/commercial, bridal, casual/sportswear, urban wear.  I am a dancer (ballet and jazz training) so I am flexible and able to move with agility, grace and ease.  **I would LOVE to take shots while in MOVEMENT of dance, specifically my praise dancing--so please inform if movement shots are your speciality**.
I am told I have a great smile; and my personality is bubbly and fun loving.  I also can give a very sexy/sultry look...so I consider my looks to be versatile. 

I would love to do shoots outside with different backgrounds but I am also open to a shoot in a studio if there are backdrops.  **I also wish to shoot with male models so if you know of some you've worked with or wish to work with feel free to invite them to our shoot!**

I can do my own hair but I would appreciate a make up artist (one who would like to do TFCD and add my images to their portfolio--I ask this humbly as I have limited funds at the moment; I am a teacher living on a fixed income in the summer smile).  I can do my own make up but I am not the best...so I prefer an MUA at my shoots especially outdoors.

I am articulate and intelligent so if you would like me to do a commercial or video that is something that interests me.  I also have a nice speaking voice (majored in English) so I am available for voice over work.
