My name is Santiago and I'm proud to introduce you to Visions By Santiago (VBS) Photography  --  welcome to my corner of Model Mayhem.  I'm a photographer with 15 years of experience shooting; in fact, I learned my photography on a Minolta film SLR shooting black and white film.  You read right, I learned on a FILM CAMERA, not a digital.  Though I have added digital photography to my repertoire, I am truly appreciative for the knowledge and insight I have gained into the principles of photography through shooting, developing and printing in black and white  --  there is truly no replacement for such experiences and knowledge.  As many of you know, digitizing a digital color shot to grayscale CANNOT begin to approach the grit, feel and lattitude of true black and white film.

I am interested in such artistic concepts as geometric lines and shapes, shadows, silhouttes, night photography, profiles, negative space, b+w film and contrast to name a few.  I also like to shoot sexy fashion and other wardrobe ideas that are wild, different or "out of the box".  And even though my schedule is quite busy, I am always seeking models for new projects, portfolio work, etc; though my TF* shoot time is limited.

On all shoots, in order to ensure the highest quality results, I do reserve the right for a one-week turn-around on the final edited cd.  Quicker turn-around times can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
