Hi, I'm David Bowie and welcome to my Model Mayhem page. At this stage I'm building my portfolio to launch as a semi-professional portrait photographer in 2012.

I joined MM to network with others who love photography as much as I do. I'm keen to work with models who would like to build their portfolios, which in turn will help me build mine.

I'm a son of a professional photographer so I grew up surrounded by cameras. I've been taking photographs for 30 years but in 2009 I turned my attention to portrait photography and attended a course at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, specifically designed for portraiture. Since then I've worked with a number of models on a TFCD basis and I'm absolutely loving it!

When I work with a model I strive to give them the best set of photographs I can. I get a real buzz when I get a "WOW!" shot. You probably know what I mean by this - a good photograph with that extra special something.

I'm very fortunate to have a beautiful barn studio just outside Farnham. It's kitted out with 4 areas for backgrounds, including a green screen for cool effects in Photoshop.
