About Me

Hi I’m Scott. I have been living in Brighton for 3 years now and have been studying photography. Weirdly enough I haven’t got around to doing the types of shoots I prefer which is fashion/editorial. The last 2 years has been pretty much centred on events photography to pay the bills, and now I am at a point where I would like to get back into doing the types of photography I enjoy.

I have conducted several fashion shoots and enjoyed each and every single one of them. Though I am going through the process of shooting entirely on film, digital work I reserve solely for commercial purposes now. There is an inherent quality and methodology of shooting that isn’t there when shooting digital.

I am looking for aspiring models, or existing talent that doesn’t have to be signed, but wishes to develop their portfolio to a higher level. In return, I offer a TF/P TF/CD as expenses on shooting film have become higher my budget may not stretch to paying daily rates (though dependant upon what is planned, it may be possible to come to an agreement) etc... I have worked with several large names doing PR and I have come to expect high standards from the people I work with.

I do expect the following:
• us all involved on the production to have a good time without drama
• hard work on all sides of the team
• promptness, if someone is late it may be necessary to cancel the shoot - I undertake other jobs where I am required to deliver
• equal respect from everyone - I have ejected models from a production on their attitude issues

All this being said, I am easy going and open to conceptual ideas. Brighton has been interesting to work in the events sector; I’d like to be able to take my positive experiences over to fashion & editorial and build up contacts within stylists and models alike.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Scott
