I live and usually shoot in Hollywood, CA. I was a U.S. Navy photographer, have been a photographer for 30 years, and shoot in all fields but mostly new, L.A. actors and actresses. I've shot male muscle all my life so still do a lot of that. All photography is art to me, so that's my approach, no matter how utilitarian the assignment.
If you're a fashion and body model breaking into the TV commercial and movie, "theatrical" fields, you probably know already that your fashion photos aren't usually gonna work to promote you. You'll need new, appropriate, TV commercial, drama, and comedy promo shots and "headshots". I do this for a living.
