I've done quite a bit of photojournalistic/event work for campus publications and various private entities back when picture taking meant waiting for Eckerd's to develop your prints. Re-getting into shutterbugging a few years (almost 2 decades) later and focusing (pun intended) on taking pics of things I'd like to see in pictures.
Mostly doing tfcd since I'm just starting up again, but would consider paid work.
