Hi, my name is Desirae, and this is my business Beyond Photography. I've had babies and have been on mat leave for over 2 yrs now. We are going to have another one this year so I decided to put a hold on my photography and do this raising babies thing ;-) for a bit. Here's my original bio, if your curious.

I kind of fell into boudoir photography from friends wanting it done, and then word of mouth from there. I can do all styles from beauty glamour to fine art nudes. I guess you could call me an artist as I've been a painter for as long as I can remember. Photography was just another inevitable step in expressing my creativity.

I have so many ideas and concepts I want to try out with my Boudoir Photography. I believe in challenging myself and trying new things. I have been able to try out some concepts on client shoots, but there are some that I would like to try out with models first.

-One thing I have been wanting to try is Couples Photography. This is where we could do individual shots, male and female boudoir, as well as couples.
-Pin Up photography
-Dewy, wet hair, white top look (refer to Dan Balan Chica Bomb music video)
-Baseball Cap, long hair, sexy dark look (refer to Janet Jacksons All Nite music video)
-Would love to work with Ethnic looking Models (tanned to darker skin)
-Fine Art nudes (where the body is like a landscape, with interesting crops and angles, laying across floor with arched back showing no face, high key look)
-One shoot all about nylons/stockings with different designs and styles
-Plus size model boudoir photography
-Wouldn't mind trying fetish, but with my shooting style it would probably be more of a beauty, classy fetish...whatever that ends up being :)


I am willing to do TFP as long as it's involving a concept I'm interested in doing that is outside my typical boudoir photography. I do have some props and pieces of wardrobe but you are required to provide some as well.

I'm also wanting to find Makeup and Hair stylists as well. There is a definite potential for a long term business relationship. I'm looking for someone with a fun personality that will make my clients feel beautiful, and get them excited for the shoot. It's tough to recommend someone I haven't worked with before, because if my client has a bad experience it reflects bad on me.
