My name is Karen and I am an amateur model with the drive to make it in the industry.  I am half Italian, quarter Syrian, and quarter Austrian which explains my dark mediterranean features and I am confident with my beauty without being vain.  I have about 3 years of pageant experience in which I have placed in the finals for all but one, including top 10 at Miss Italia USA in Miami, FL in March 2007.  I am also crowned Miss Italian St. Louis 2007/2008.  Apart from my passion to become a model, I am a full time Junior student at Lindenwood University on a scholarship.  I have 3 jobs, so that should exemplify that I am a hard worker. 
I am a very mature and responsible personality, while I am able to keep a cheery attitude and love working with others. I have a great sense of humor and a beautiful outlook on life.  I am also an artist, writer, and I have a passion for animals.  I actually have 8!
My adventurous imagination runs wild through mind, which allows myself to never be short of inspiration, will, and personality.  I do have some people say I am quite mysterious in a good way. I let you know enough about myself to respect me but the way I carry my personal life, and myself as a woman is very intriguing and I take pride in that. But I will never be short of a story or interesting facts about myself (including an appearance as a guest on the Tyra Banks show for catching a criminal!)

10/16/08 To all photographers interested...
I will be compiling a list of dates and times I will have off (from my very busy schedule) so that it is easier for me to work and schedule shoots.  I will do this as soon as I can.  Please check with me, or my profile to see when I have them posted.  This will help everyone in full I believe.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  I am very busy with school and work, so I will do my best to make time.  Once the dates and times are posted, don't hesitate to request them, since I have had multiple photgraphers interested, and I would like to work with everyone equally!
Again I am interested, and I just wanted to make that known. 
*Note, I am not interested in nudity at this time, so this should be taken into mind, to any who have this vision.  Bikini, etc. is suitable.
