I am a full time professional photographer and graphic designer. I shoot models for two reasons.

1. To conceptualize and experiment with lighting, post processing techniques, and to further my craft.

2. For commercial photography ( ads and for clients ).

I pay for commercial work, but I don't pay for conceptual shooting. If we do a conceptual shoot, please don't expect a CD full of photos. You can expect 8-12 very VERY highly polished photos. This is not to say that your time isn't worthwhile, but the amount of time I spend setting up, shooting, and post processing my work extends far beyond the hour or two of time we will spend shooting.

On the other hand, if a client likes the look you have and we are shooting commercial work, expect to be paid very well for your time.

I think photographing the human form can be very beautiful, but I don't generally shoot nudes, nor any risque photography. MM is full of nudes and if you want to be taken seriously as a model - then you will understand why I am avoiding it.
