I consider my photography to be "Single Frame Films". Film is a large part of my photography. In fact, it was film that sparked my appreciation for this medium. I love creating photos that look like a small moment stalled within a bigger story. The photos become something personal and intimate, a blink in time that in real life would never have a witness.
I'm self taught in almost everything. I've had no formal training in photography but my experience in other forms of creative expression and my talent for observation gave me an advantage. I was a pen and ink and graphite artist. I've always been interested in fine arts-paintings and art history all of my life. My knowledge of composition. light and shadow, and lines that draw the the inward come from my exposure to everything from Greco-Roman to early Christan to Postmodern art.

I have a wide variety of interests. This opens up a diverse amount of subject matter.

While I do love conventional glamor and beauty, I'm also interested in doing things bold and unconventional. Rising above typical beauty and going for the raw, the rude, and the real- I like edge...rock and roll...and photos that spit.

Some influences- Gregory Crewdson, Man Ray, Nan Goldin, Edward Steichen, Bernardo Bertolucci, Diane Arbus, Andy Warhol, Cecil Beaton, Larry Clark, Jan Saudek, Ryan McGinley, Pulp Art and Pop Art, Film Noir, Roy Lichtenstein, Linder Sterling, Various independent, classic and cult films, and conventional and unconventional fashion.

I'm here to build a directory of models to work with on future endeavors. Please request me if you think you might be interested in shooting. If I have specific idea I want to be able to look through my list and find the person or persons who fit the project. Models willing to buy what I ask them to, be it clothing, or props is a huge plus!!
