I love art of all types and have been into Photography since I was 15. I saved all I could earn for that first 35mm camera. By the age of 19 I was shooting professionally.
Since that time a camera has become my constant companion, even underwater.
I love to capture that brief fraction of a second. That perfect moment that would have other wise been lost to the constant stream of passing time. 
While I enjoy doing all types of photography from commercial to fashion. The natural world is where my real passion is. I love photographing people in natural surroundings and doing travel photography. Costa Rica is my favorite place to shot on the planet. The people are warm and friendly and the country is unbelievable!
  I am also a Photoshop master if you need any artsy stuff for your portfolio.

Alan has won numerous awards as well as being published around the world. In Public and Private publications and on the world wide web. He has served  as Senior Designer for a Major Textile Mill for over 10 years and has done advertizing photography for huge accounts like Lowes and Home Depot. His photography has been on the pages of Orchids Magazine the largest horticultural magazine in the United States, Pets a trade industry magazine  and even on the pages of Outdoor Living in Queensland Australia among others!
