About Me

Update 07/23/2011
I was reading a model's page not too long ago, and she wrote something that is completely true. She finds it funny that new models, with no experience whatsoever, with only a couple of amateurish looking photos in their portfolio, only wanting with work paid jobs, asking for publications, and tear sheets. I believe this field we're working in is a ladder to succes. YOu have to start at the bottom step and work your way up to the top. There is no starting on top or in the middle. Me for examples, when I started a few years ago I was having a hard time finding models to work with because I didn't have anything to show in my portfolio. As my experience grew, and my work started speaking for itself I started working with higher quality of models. Now I"m up to a point where models are emailing me wanting to work with me, telling me they love my work. THe moral of this update is, if you're a model, or photographer starting out don't try to jump the steps of the ladder. It's great wanting to start at the top but it doesn't work that way in real life. Get as much experience as you can under your belt, even if it means starting with lower levels of photographers or models,  then you can start asking for publications, paid jobs, and tear sheets.

Update10/01/2010:
Working on my personal website. Be on the lookout for that. More details to come soon.

Update 09/05/2010:
I haven't updated my mayhem page in a long time. So I think it's long overdue. A lot has changed in the past year or so. I've had a few more photoshoots under my belt, my skills have developed from a simple amateur to an advanced amateur. The only difference between me and a professional is that he gets paid to take his pictures. Me I just do it because it's my passion, it's something I love. I love photography because it helps me channel my passion, my energy into creativity.

With that being said I really look forward to hearing from ya'll. If you have any comments, any critiques please feel free to speak your mind. By that I don't mean you telling me that "your pictures suck!", or "I love your pictures. If you say something about my pic I wanna know why you love or hate my work so I can improve and learn from it. I mean something like: "you picture suck because the lighting need could be better, the exposure is too dense, and the model's pose could have been more aggressive, sexier..." Or something in those line...
