I am located in Houston, and I am a hairstylist.  My passion is hair, and I love EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!  My favorite thing to do is UPDO'S (BRIDAL HAIR), WEDDING HAIR IS MY SPECIALTY!  SHORT HAIR CUTS AND EXTENSIONS ARE TWO OF MY OTHER SPECIALTIES, but I am also looking to photograph my more creative side by doing some EXTREME hair photos... I can do EVERYTHING! I am trying to build my portfolio, (especially Fashion/Glamour/Extreme shots) so I am open to performing hair services for a variety of shoots everything EXCEPT nude or implied nude...  Everything else, I'm ya girl....

Marta Pickard is a dynamic hair artist, designer, and educator. She has demonstrated excellence in the hair industry since 1997 and is often referred to as “MAGIC” due to her stunning hair designs and creative techniques. Owner of Magic in Motion Hair, she possesses a Master/Instructor License, and as a cosmetology instructor has educated her students on all aspects of cosmetology. An advocate for continuing education, she believes in being educated and educating others on the latest styling techniques, technology, and trends.  She is a national platform artist.  She is a member of the National Cosmetologist Association, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.  Her work has appeared in Sophisticate's Black Hair Magazine, Hype Hair, Black Beauty, and others. She is determined to be a pivoting force that will motivate and lead others to success in the hair industry. She possesses a definite “Magic” that will help her to reach new heights and experiences to share with other cosmetologists.
