"This text is from my first book Work & Body" and it was publised 2000 in many magazine.

Denis Wöhler was born on 2 March 1965 in Braunschweig (Germany). At the age of 12 he received his first camera and took pleasure in photographing cars. Meanwhile not only the motifs have changed.
When he was 17 he turned to male photography. For many years the qualified machine fitter and retailer pursved photographer only was a hobby. Although Denis took the appropriate coures at school, he is basically self-trained. His main emphasis is placed on male erotic photography, although he often receives commissions for object and commerical photography. His pictures have won distinction for their naturalness. Denis avoids rigid poses and prefers to capture his young and athletic models on film out in the open. The snapsshots should have an unobserved, almost yoyeuristic appeal. Bare chests and jeans are vitually an erotic must - a likeable trait of the Munich by choice.
