I'm a 27 yr-old female photographer in the Pittsburgh area.

A lot of photographers can give you a well defined concept of their style preference.  Though I do hope to achieve that sometime in the future, I am content exploring various styles.  I have a fondness for close up portraits, but that is not the extent of my work.  Most of what I have submitted to MM in my gallery are digital images--Alternative processes and film however, are mediums that I am quite fond of working with as well, especially Salt Prints.  As for lighting techniques and equipment, I enjoy strobe lighting,  though there is something to be said for natural light and use of that which is available.  I enjoy using what I have at my disposal and making the most of it.  I've learned from many professors, expensive equipment is fine if you can afford it, but it is not necessary create "quality" images.

Many of my concepts are inspired by my models, who are more often than not, close friends.  Though I've find myself, of late, overwhelmed with an abundance of ideas and concepts and no one available to help me bring them to life.
