Dated 12/18/2009: No Ghetto Fashion Shows!!! Disorganized, late, rude, nasty attitude, no assistance, bad service. If you have little to no experience, be upfront. I will not waste my time showing my collection without seeing the guest list. Fashion shows are meant to start & thrive businesses, not to show off how many people you know can dress models. I am a professional and my time is money. If you would like to invite me to show or watch, this needs to be an opportunistic networking event. Serious designers will not take you seriously and will not refer you to ANYONE in the future if you are not professional. Do your homework. Know exactly why you are doing what you are doing and be able to perform the exact best. BTW, if you need it, don't be afraid to ask for professional help. Fire your family members and friends that are not serious about this. Your associations will only hurt or help you so be particular.
