Johannes is a self-taught New York-based photographer. He began his pictorial journey from an early age in Claverack, New York, poring through issues of National Geographic. Through the years, photography not only became Johannes’ artistic medium but also changed the way he viewed the world.

Fascinated by people and culture, his first venture into the realm of professional photography in 2008 at the Carrie Haddad gallery opened up infinite possibilities.

Always striving to grow and learn, Johannes continually explores fresh and unique perspectives to shoot. His varied experiences include covering events, portraiture, the abstract, fashion, documentary, food, still life, and nature.
