Henri Cartier-Bresson once said, “The picture is good or not from the moment it was caught in the camera”. 

Whether on assignment for The Canadian Press or shooting freelance, my goal is for you to be as excited about your pictures as I am when creating them.

My knowledge of Photoshop allows me to work as if I were still in a ‘wet’ darkroom.  I can give images the necessary treatment to make them look their best, while still maintaining a sense that the post production doesn’t trump the original picture.

There are some things models expect.  Things like knowing their photographer adheres to a stringent code of ethics and standards; or constantly upgrades his/her skills; observes the highest standard of honesty in all transactions or produces photographs of quality equal or superior to the samples he displays.  Photographers have expectations too:  a passion for the shoot, which includes punctuality, reliability, and good communication. If I send you a message with a shoot opportunity and you don't have the manners to respond to at least decline the opportunity I will not be inviting you to work with me again.  All parties involved in creative TF shoots (model, makeup artist, etc) will receive one retouched web-sized digital images for e-books (agency sites, etc). If more are wanted they will be available for purchase or I suggest booking a shoot. Edited 9x12 prints for your print portfolio are available at $35 each. Some exceptions may apply. Time is money and I only devote my post-work time on paid projects (I do not give out raw images). Images that are provided must not be altered or modified in any way without written permission.  Thank you for your understanding.
