About Me

Standout photographs come from good ideas and clear photographic style, not from a mere copy of what we have in front of us. What sets you apart as a photographer is your interpretation of a reality that is the same for all of us. That is the true meaning of “photography.”  "age fotostock"

I appreciatE the value of old object, deserted places, and spirits. The look and feel of a place once lived in. Once used to create a living now deserted and left alone. I enjoy the look and feel of the old.

Bringing to the viewers attention who used, who touched, and who became. This is why I enjoy creating photos where I shoot models, landscapes, objects, moments and the old; all a reflection my vision.

In the words of Robert Kincaid from The Bridges of Madison County By: Robert James Waller pg.50
She noticed he'd said "making" pictures. “You make pictures, not take them?" Yes. At least that's how I think of it. That's the difference between Sunday snap shooters and someone who does it for a living. When I'm finished with that bridge we saw today, it won’t look quite like you expect. I'll have made it into something of my own, by lens choice, or camera angle, or general composition, and most likely by some combination of all of those. "I don't just take things as given; I try to make them into something that reflects my personal consciousness, my spirit.

I was Born in Kingston Jamaica WI, and moved to USA at the age of four; grew up in Queens, New York. My first interest in photography started at the age of 11. In fifth grade my teacher Mr. Gee was the first to introduce me to the developing process of a photograph. Attended Long Island University where I majored in Media Arts with a concentration in photography, computer graphics, and TV production. There I obtained Scholarships in Media Arts and Photography. I completed an internship with John Reuter’s Polaroid 20” 30” Polaroid studio; where I assisted well known photographers as William Wegman, Joyce Tenneson, and many more. There I was exposed to creative Polaroid techniques, studio lighting as well as traditional photography techniques. I always believed that my best work comes from what I love the most and my passion is photography.

My love for photography and ability to use many creative techniques, my appreciation for the aged, my education, and exposure to working in John Reuter’s Studio allows my photos to become unique mysterious works of art.
