I have worked as a professional makeup artist & esthetician for 13 years. I have trained under instructors from M.A.C., Westmore Academy & Kryolan to name a few.  I also dabble in photography which has been the most helpful tool in building a successful makeup business. 
A makeup may look great on the face, but when shot professionally looks terrible & vice versa. I strive to create a harmonious balance of the two, so that the subject & photograph will be equally striking.
After working in the salon environment for 12 years I am proud to say I have opened my own business-Urbane Aesthetics in the beautiful Premier Salon Suites building in Shelby Twp where I perform skin care, waxing & airbrush makeup services as well as doing on location work.  I will also do cosmetic consultations & makeup lessons for those interested in the latest trends & techniques, those just starting to wear makeup or clients who need help with color or application issues.
Makeup has always been a passion for me. When someone look great, they usuallly feel great & more confident. I consider myself very down to earth & easy to work with. I have a great eye for shape & color & am very creative.
My specialty is airbrush makeup application.  It is almost flawless in todays hi-def world.  The shading, contouring & highlighting possibilities are almost endless with an airbrush & it wears & photographs better than any other makeup I have ever worked with. It transforms a 2 dimensional snapshot into a 3 dimensional work of art!
I do all forms of makeup-natural, bridal, pinup, runway/high fashion, fantasy, etc.  I can also style hair if needed & can assist in wardrobe selection/coordination & posing (making sure hair lays right, bra isnt showing etc.-I can save you a ton of time in photoshop by seeing things that you may miss being behind the camera & understanding basic concepts in photography.)
