A little bit about me:

I was scouted by Wilhelmina out in Chicago back in 2002, and was sadly disappointed to find that after a 3 hour drive to Joliet, IL that I was asked to pay $5000 for what I'm not sure. I tore up any paperwork I had filled out and hit the road. LOL. I did do a regular photo shoot at New Faces Model Managment in NY around 2000 but they wanted like $500 or something for my face cards, LOL. Again,I'm not so sure.

As you can see, I am just getting my "foot in the door" as some would call it with modelling. I have been told many times that I should model or I should get into modelling by many friends, family members, acquaintences etc. in my life. However, I wasn't so sure about it until I was approached by a fantastic and creative Photographer/Actress ,Kate Boyer, who had an amazing vision for a photoshoot and she asked if I would be interested. I took a chance and thanks to her I can say that she not only helped me find that light that everyone carries inside themselves, but I have, since then, become more intrigued with the idea of modelling. About my name:

Well, on Model Mayhem you can choose your display name. If you're lucky you can have the one that you truly want. LOL. I however had to settle for "Madame M". Which since I had no other choice, I'm glad that it was something closely related to "Lady M". "Lady M" was inspired by one of my favorite redheads, Melissa Auf der Maur. (Some say we have a similar resemblence, LOL) It was almost permanent on my day of birth,that I would be named Melissa, however, my loving father decided that Mandy Jean suited me better. LOL. So, not only did I feel some sort of connection to Melissa on just the basis that I was to be named Melissa, but I thought that  her alias,Madame X, was just so eloquent. Personally intrigued by French culture, and being the 1st granddaughter of a wonderful British grandmother, I felt that "Lady M" was elegant yet lady-like. So, yeah, I haven't separated from it since it's creation.

I will not do any nudes.

I will not change my hair color. It's naturally three shades of red: Auburn, copper and true red.
