Please read the entire page before contacting for a shoot.  There may be a test.
The following may make us sound like a bunch of "hard asses" but we feel having clear expectations, makes the shoot better for everyone.  You can ask anyone below on the credits page what they think of working with us, and "hard ass" is probably NOT what you'll hear.  Even though we have high expectations, we still have fun!

First and foremost, we are are artists.  Sometimes what is shot is not what the final image will look like.  Not everyone loves what we do, and that's fine.  Love it or hate it, if it made you feel something, mission accomplished.


***Note: We are a legal, licensed business.  We do not work for "free".  Our portfolio is diverse enough to not need TF. Our rates are reasonable and tailored to each shoot.  Contact us for details.  We MAY collaborate for magazine submission only.

Our work is not for those afraid to get dirty, climb like a monkey or if you only like to look "pretty".  Modeling is work when you work with us, but it will be worth it.  We will put variety in your portfolio.  We are not pigeonholed into one genre.  We can shoot anything, everything and edit it a multitude of ways.

We are a husband and wife team, a legal business, a collaboration of two experienced artists, both photographers with a unique artistic eye, styling and creating,  professional retouching and creative editing.  Though Brandy does most of the photography and Josh prefers to be behind the scenes editing, both are capable of doing either and often will.  Our photography is the entire package.  We do photography, hair and makeup (MM#1322192) retouching (MM#690132) and most times wardrobe.  You might only meet or speak with Brandy, but Josh will spend a lot of time getting to know your face on his screen and making you pop!  He is amazing, and that's why I agreed to marry him.

***Note...Paid shoots will always take priority, even over magazine submissions.  Editing will take as long as it has to for every shoot. ***

MODELS:

Once arrangements have been made for a shoot, I need your email and contact number. You must call, email, text, mm mesage 24 hours before our shoot to confirm. No contact no shoot. If you stand me up for a shoot, we won'€™t be rescheduling unless you put down a deposit prior to our shoot date.  We will give you the same courtesy if something should come up on this end.

You are welcome to bring an escort to your shoot, but please make sure that your escort is not going to interrupt the shoot by distracting you or us. He or she will likely be put to work.

COME PREPARED:
What this means:

FACE should be clean, moisturized and if we are not doing makeup here, it should be done before you get here so you are ready to shoot.

NAILS neat.  No chipped nail polish.  If they are chipped and you don't have time to repaint them, take it off.

HAIR done (or if we are having hair done here, wash it the night before, not the morning of the shoot.)  Do not come to the shoot with wet hair.

SHAVE.  Please. 

CLOTHING should not wadded up in a bag (unless we are doing a specifically choreographed session, where clothes are optional or supplied, come organized and prepared).  ALWAYS bring a strapless bra and underwear in white or nude to EVERY shoot.  No photographer wants to put you in a white dress and see your hot pink hello kitty panties through it.

PLEASE wear loose fitting clothing to the shoot, and nothing with elastic in the fabric. While it is possible to remove your bra strap and other marks left by tight clothing in Photoshop, if it can be avoided before the photo is taken, you might get your images faster as it is less to touch up.

Hair and MUA are at your expense, unless agreed upon in advance and in writing.  We have a fantastic team of stylists, and if you want to use them, their fees can be worked into the rate of the shoot.

Having a model as your photographer means she would not ask of you what she would not or has not done herself.

Shoot policy:  you will get a few of your best images (2-4 possibly more depending on number of looks and shots taken) chosen by me from each look we shoot.  They will be retouched images emailed to you in web format.  You can purchase prints for your book if you like at a reasonable rate.  You may also purchase a CD with the retouched images.  We do not EVER under ANY circumstance give out RAW or untouched images on CD. There are exceptions to this rule, but these are VERY RARE. You may NOT alter, edit or crop any image from our shoot without written permission and we have final approval. If there is something in the image you want edited (within reason) just ask or point it out.

A model release with these stipulations will be provided for you to sign.  No sign, no shoot.  Occasionally, one of the magazines we shoot for will call for images that may fit something we may have shot with you.  If so, you will get a digital tear sheet when it is published and we will notify you.

Images from our shoot may be used in your port and personal websites (MM, OMP, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter … etc). They may NOT be used or submitted to online EZines or pay sites. Many of these sites state in there “terms of service” that you must own the copyright and that all uploaded images become their property and you don'€™t own the copyright, I do.  I do ask that you credit those you work with, as I give credit to every person I work with.  This includes MUAs and Stylists.

If we are doing a shoot specifically for tear sheets for print in any of the magazines we shoot for, you will get a digital tearsheet.  If you want a physical copy of the magazine, you will have to purchase that yourself. 

I retain the copyright to the images I take; ALWAYS. When you hire me, you are paying me for my talents and a set number of edited images. You are NOT buying the copyrights to the images. Commercial Licensing options are available. 

No Call, No Show: I will not shoot with you unless you are paying a deposit prior to the shoot.  If I'm making time for you, the least you could do is contact me if something comes up.
