Naira is a Fashion Designer, who has studied
design since the age of 10, and apprenticed with her grandmother as well
as her great grandmother, who were both highly skilled in the apparel
arts. Naira received professional tutoring at the age of 14 and
graduated at 18 from a fashion-related technical school .
Immigrating by herself to America at the age of 19, leaving her family
behind, she quickly adapted to the fast pace of American life, going on
to graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

A deeply spiritual person concerned with humanity's well-being, her
greatest ambition is to have her designs reach a large enough audience,
allowing her to make a difference in the lives of others.


Wishing the name of her collection to reflect her spiritual side,
she chose the name DiviNation. What does it mean? The dictionary
suggests the following:

An inspired guess;
Something that has been divined;
An indication of what is future or secret;
Perception by intuition and
Instinctive foresight.

Couldn't these also be definitions of fashion itself?
