About Me

Name of label: Emmeline

Designer’s Name: Emma Bryant

Designer Quote: “As much as fashion is defined as contemporary it’s also important to remember history’s place in design”

Having studied for three years at Wimbledon School of Art Emma graduated in 2006 with the view to start her own fashion label.
Since graduating from university, Emma has established her own fashion label called Emmeline. Emmeline specialises in corsetry and bespoke women’s clothing. Her work to date has seen her design for Scotland’s burlesque night, Club Noir and has had editorial coverages in the Daily record. “Emmeline” has had her designs exhibited in Glasgow fashion week 2007 and recently had her debut catwalk at Glasgow fashion week 2008 for her spring/summer 2009 collection.

Emma takes her inspiration from the pre 1950’s and the world of burlesque where she has a huge following of admirers. Her designs convey glamour and grace with a modern twist, with high waistlines and vibrant colours. The use of silks and satins give Emma’s creations the movement and silhouettes she desires.

Emmeline wish's to meet photographers, models and MUA's who can help further her career in fashion design. Willing to work for TFP*
