I started out when I was 18, modeling as I was, 140 lbs 5'11". I built my experience & portfolio shooting as much as possible, in the mean time looking for work & an agent.  I had some paid assignments & entered contests and learned alot, but something consistently holding me back, was my weight. I know you're thinking are you kidding me? But yes, I was not skinny enough back then, nor did I ever make myself sick trying to get there. Time had passed, my metabolism slowed down, and working graveyards on movie sets created a thicker appearance for me. I lost the confidence to model at my peak weight 213lbs. After some diet & excercise I managed to get down to 170lbs. There was a plus size model contest running that my aunty sent me the info to, I then started shooting again as much as I could, & fell back in love with modeling again. At 170lbs I was now too thin for plus size modeling in Canada. Haha isn't life grand!? Anyways after not purposely gaining weight, I've hung on to my new found confidence & continued fighting for my passion. Today I'm a plus size model driven fiercly to succeed, and I will not stop until I do!
