My name is John Winn. I am a Photojournalist who recently relocated to Salem, Oregon. After 10+ years in the military, I decided to hang-up the uniform and go back to what I love, which is being behind the camera. I went to school, earned my undergraduate degree in media production while working in the Boise Treasure Valley as a freelance photographer, had a short stint doing video for HP before going back to work for the military as a Public Affairs Specialist.

I shoot portraits as a hobby and would love to work with anyone just looking to have fun. Let me know what you have in mind and we'll work together to create some great images. I love shooting outside in natural light and I'm always willing to work in an indoor space if we can find something that will accommodate us. I would love to expand my horizons and branch out, so if you would like some work done and are willing to work together to make a great shoot, let me know!
