I am a fine art and portrait photographer whose work has been displayed in numerous galleries, regional/international exhibitions, museums, and private shows, as well as in newspapers, magazines, and web sites.

I am always interested in photographing interesting people to broaden my own portfolio and am happy to trade my time and talent for yours, providing copies of image files, and a web site containing photos from our session in exchange for a release permitting me to use the photos from our session. I am generally less interested in paid shoots since most of my commercial sales are in the form of framed artistic prints sold to collectors and few sessions result in direct sales.

I view photo sessions as a collaborative process and am always open to working with a model to try to achieve particular effects. I also own, train and breed Labrador Retrievers and often look for opportunities to incorporate puppies into my photos. While people with dog or cat allergies may not do well in my studio (located in dedicated rooms at the back of my house), my dogs are always kept crated during photo sessions unless they are part of the shoot.

I am generally happy to accept friend requests from people I know, models in my area (although if you wish to shoot, sending me a message is more effective), and people who have given some indication that they have an interest in my work through an image comment, tag, or other. I generally turn down requests otherwise, especially from retouchers (I do my own) and those who seem simply to be collecting "friends". The friends listed on the front page of my site are those with whom I have worked most frequently and/or most recently.
