She falls down And gets right back up,
Laces tied around her ankles.
Dress wrapped with clear slippers on her feet
She twirls and swirls in circles
She trips and slips her pretty pink dress rips.
She hides her face behind a mask,
Make up covering scabs, wounds each blemish
She slides and tip toes, her arms gliding through thin air
No one is watching, while this Angel Shines her star light
Her eyes close, it's dark out.
Star light, Star bright I wish tonight.
Sinks in every breath she has and goes in again.
She won't stop for any purpose.
Arms up, She's Alone, Standing tall
As she's moving, you watch her close yet your hiding.
Knowing You can't let her see you
Or she'll stop and disappear into thin air
She's spinning her movement to silence,
You see no tears though you feel them
She lays her head on the ground,
each leg ponders to the dragon fly's and cricket sounds.
You want to hear her speak you want to feel her skin,
Your scared to see within. Scared her heart will sink in.
Wanting to get closer
You want to see her features reveal herself
and toss the mask into the river.
Wanting to hold her, Wanting to dance with her feet.
She's further and further
You start not to see her, You want to get close, scared to.
She'll run you know she'll run.
As You're walking up to her, Seeing her back facing you.
She hears a knock, She turns around and She sees you
You can't help but blink.....
She's gone
