I started shooting when I was about 10, black and white photos and a school darkroom. I was not an avid shooter due to cost and impatience, until my 30's, when I built my own darkroom so I did not have to wait for developing. It still wasn't a love affair, though. Then came the computer graphics revolution, and I was hooked. I got interested in all kinds of Photoshop manipulations, as well as straight retouching from mild to extreme. I love fantasy and pinup styles, but am open to most anything.
I found myself looking at life as if it were an image. I sometimes even imagine I can see light flow, more like a liquid than anything. I switched to digital cameras, and then DSLR cameras, and have been happily shooting anything that holds even remotely still.  I have been working with lighting, and know that I have a lot of practice still to go. For the last few years I have been mostly studying the correct (and incorrect) ways to use flash. My lighting kit is constantly evolving, and I have recently started to add underwater shoots  -  heck, I've even gotten certified in scuba just so I can try and shoot some mermaids. I now have a proper sized shooting space (An RV garage with air conditioning, a must for Phoenix) that I usually work in. It has all my lights, plus the compressor for the airbrushes for bodypainting.

I am interested in all sorts of images - basically I'll shoot just about any concept you might have, or work to expand an idea into something amazing. I'm always wanting to learn new techniques and add new skills. I am starting to teach myself bodypainting, and always enjoy a chance to practice on willing canvases.
