*My name is Lauren Orwig. I am a Farouk Systems Color Artist and I have had extensive color (technical and theory) training as a Toni and Guy Technician. I currently manage a Buckhead salon here in Atlanta. My true passion in life is my independent business LETHAL CREATIONS BY LAUREN ORWIG which does freelance hair and makeup for photographers and commercial work. When I get home at night from a long day at work, whether on a shoot or in the salon, I spend time on the novel I'm writing or painting for the rare occasion I take commissions for my artwork.

*I am inspired by everything around me. I love to work with everything from subtle beauty shots to extreme over the top fantasy shots. I admire those who see the world for the insanity it presents in the "normal", and strives to create a fantastical world where "normal" doesn't exist. I see perfection in the world of the weird, and I work hard to translate that into photographs.


* I get inspiration from my favorite artists who include: Grant Nelson, Gina Jrel, Man Ray, Shan Murray, James Christopher Hill, Balthus, Misty Benson, Tiffini Elektra, and my darling Salvador Dali, as well as many of you. These amazing men and women have been nourishing me for years. Look them up!


*Creation is my purpose for being, and I make a living doing what I do. My rates are reasonable for paid shoots but I have NO PROBLEM doing TF at my disclosure(If the shoot requires a lot of product I may ask, not demand, a small kit fee to help with expenses expenses)


**My ultimate dream is to do hair and makeup for Film and TV
