Hello Darlings! My name is LuLu. Born and raised in New York with 25 years of age to my name. Art is a huge aspect in my life and always has been. I knew I would eventually end up working in some sort of creative field that would let me use the talents that make me who I am. I went to the Aveda institute for cosmetology and I have been a licensed cosmetologist for a little over two years. I am proud to say that I currently work at the number one salon in New York City that specializes in curly hair. Working at the Devachan Salon has changed my life entirely. It is a very demanding since we are a specialty salon and at times can be very hard and does push you past your comfort zone. However, like I said it can be rough but I personally have never felt such a strong passion in like and there is absolutely nothing more rewarding and then helping and meeting the clients knowing that I am making somewhat of a difference in their life big or small. Which is what brings me here to Model Mayhem. I have always been very into photography throughout the years and have always been the one behind the camera and in control. I have always been so interested and have wanted to try getting into modeling for a long time but have never felt secure or comfortable enough with myself to actually go for it and give it a shot. Like I mentioned, my career pushes me past my comfort zone which is tough at times but has only made me get further not only in my career but my life in general and in the long run has brought so much joy and happiness into my life. So I am finally taking the big leap and stepping out of my comfort zone to finally give modeling a shot and be in front of the camera for once instead of behind it. I truly believe that if lucky enough to have and be given a chance at this that it will only bring more passion and happiness into my life to keep me moving forward and have a new and beautiful form of art to express and be brought into my life as well.
