Working artist building body of work with collaborators at Model Mayhem FINALLY! MIKAL Vollmer is a published comic book writer, illustrator and colorist. He is the creator of underground comix distributed worldwide, with a translation in Italian. His comic credits include: The Beatles Experience, The New Kids on the Block Hate Book, Flowers on the Razorwire; is in the Cartoon Art Museum (San Francisco), and appears in the 1994 San Diego Comic Con Program book. He is an uncredited colorist on many Harvey Comics of the early '90s (inColor). He was profiled in the San Diego Reader for his underground comix (2010, Keys To The Comics Kingdom), in the Spokesman-Review for his Ghostly Prints art show. He has been featured on San Francisco talk radio for his role in the cereal box collecting hobby.

He served on the San Diego Comic Con Committee and attended comic conventions in Los Angeles, Kansas City, Seattle, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and Rome Italy. His fanzine and artwork is featured in the punk rock documentary SpokAnarchy. He holds an Associate Degree in fine art and is currently pursuing a Bachelors at Cal State.

Art shows inlcude: Friends With Benefits, (Spokane WA), Cal State Gallery (San Bernardino CA), Empire at Space 1 Gallery (Pomona CA). ReBar (Seattle WA), Gallerie Diabolique (in Giant Nerd Books, Spokane WA) and upcoming WonderCon and San Diego Comic Con exhibits.
