“I always thought good photos are like good jokes. If you have to explain them, they really aren't that good." - Anonymous

Hello Mayhem! I'm Mike. I’m a Graphic Designer/Illustrator by trade and an amateur photographer by night (it was easier on the family than being a cross-dressing, gender confused lesbian). Photography has become my creative outlet.

Now, if haven’t lost your interest yet, you might want to get a more exciting life. :)

I’m a photographer for reasons that have nothing to do with making money or being published. I just plain like the art form. Actually, most of the stuff that I do really doesn’t belong here at Model Mayhem, since most of my photography lacks human subjects. I’m hoping to change that.

I only work TF*. If you must be paid, then we probably can't work together. I find that pay for you or me messes with my creative process and it becomes work. Being a traditional trained Illustrator by trade, I already made that mistake with my first passion 20 some years ago. (BTW, TF* can include cookies, candy, 12 year old Scotch, Slinky’s, shiny things, basically anything other than cash.) I’m not above bribery.

OK, so you haven’t shot yourself yet and still want to work with me? You could contact a local support group and get help, or you could write me, call me, slap me, or show me something shiny to get my attention. My email is [email protected].

Nude Policy:

I definitely have, um, well, OK, I don't have a nude policy. Hell, I don't have any policies. Policies require effort.

Friend Requests:

You don't have to write me before adding me as a friend. I’m just happy you took a look at my attempt at photography. I never understood why people on here care so much if you write them, don’t write them, give them the special secret handshake, or comment on their work before adding them. Also, if I send you a friend request, that just means I like what I see in your portfolio and want to stop back. Again, being easily distracted by shiny things, I found it’s the best way for me to find my way back to your portfolio.
