Since a young boy growing up in Brooklyn, New York I was always taught to follow my dreams and my passion. But I never would have thought in a million years that my amazing journey as a photographer would bless me to shoot some of the world’s most beautiful faces and places.


My name is Abelardo Guerrero Jr. or affectionately known as Mr. G. by family, friends and celebrities alike. My journey began in Honduras, CA where my mother and father raised my older sister Olga and three older brothers Thomas, Pablo and Juvy. After moving to New York City in 1968 my older sister Eva was born and one year later I entered the world. My younger brother Jorge was born a year later which completed my immediate family unit.

Growing up in a tight-knit family gave me the edge I needed to always pursue my goals. After graduating high school I played college basketball and was eventually drafted by a semi-pro basketball league to play in Central America. The opportunity to travel and see new lands polished my thirst to capture the beauty of the world. After my career in sports I entered the exciting world of photography.


In 2004 I was reunited with a childhood friend and powerful entertainment executive Kevin Hunter. As the husband and manager of “The Queen of All Media” Wendy Williams, Mr. Hunter hired me as her personal photographer. What began as a gig doing exclusive photos for “The Wendy Williams Experience” radio show, quickly ballooned into a National Television job with over five million daily viewers. I owe a lot of my success to Mr. Hunter’s willingness to take a chance on me and introducing me to an array of celebrities and now close friends including Smoothe “Da Hustler”, Trigger “The Gambler” and Ice T.


My illustrious career has put many famous faces on the other end of my camera including Jamie Fox, Busta Ryhmes, Will and Jada Smith, Joan Rivers, 50 Cent, Gabrielle Union, Jimmy Fallen, Alicia Keys, Vivica Fox, , Westly Snipes, Vanessa Williams, Dashawn Taylor, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, Tommy Davidson, Mr.Vegas, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, TI, Slim from 112, Boris Kodjoe, Joe, America's Next Top Model Eva, Pit Bull, Tom Brandy….and many more.


The beautiful places that I have shot includes Honduras, Brazil, China, Japan, Paris, Africa, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize, Hawaii, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Turks And Caicos, Trinidad And Tobago, Santo Domingo, Jamaica, Haiti, Italy and countless locations in the United States.


As the world changes and new faces emerge on the scene I look forward to growing my business and expanding my talents including photo editing and new media production.
