I usually go by Frank, I earned an associates degree in photography from Daytona State College and looking to earn a bachelor's degree at UCF starting this fall. Currently I'm still working on a style but most of the time I lean more towards portraits with strong contrast, mostly low key portraits though I do like to work outdoors as well given the weather isn't nasty.

Mostly I use off camera speedlights and use a strobist approach to my portraits to give studio lighting on location. This has been the bulk of what I worked on during my time at Daytona State and what I feel most comfortable with. I do have experience with profoto D1 air monolights and softboxes from school but I prefer the lightweight and ease of use of speedlights and portable umbrellas and lightstands. I only take what I can carry.

Primarily I'm very much interested in doing more cosplay photography, the amount of skills and themes involved in cosplay interests me greatly. A blend of fashion, glamour, story telling, and fine portraiture all appeals to me pretty heavily. Also many cosplayers work extremely hard on their own cosplays only to have their work mostly unnoticed by unsatisfactory photos, I wish to give them the photos they deserve because hey, they worked hard on the cosplays so I should work hard on their photos.

I'm not limited to cosplay photography, however. I try to be flexible with my work and usually practice a variety of work going from events like graduation parties and weddings to one on one portraits with a specific vision in mind. Planning is the key for me and effective communication in the client so we both know what we want and how to achieve it.

I'm not too heavy on post editing, largely I work in lightroom and do local editing such as contrast, color correction, and skin retouching.

For goals I don't have much besides to try and shoot more and build a larger social circle. I am always willing to do trade shoots with other models for portfolio building!
