Specializing in black and white figure and figurative portraits. I work primarily in natural light with models of all levels, and offer compensation for experienced models with established, professional level portfolios.  I like working with inexperienced and beginner models as well, and offer generous TFP as compensation. I'm especially interested in working with models of different ethnic groups than those currently in my portfolio, and with persons of non-traditional beauty or unique characteristics.

Currently looking for a local, female model for several long term projects. No compensation but will collaborate on concepts/ideas on time for trade basis. Body type, ethnicity, etc not as important as being comfortable in your body, able to express emotion and sense of character, and a preference for artistic style of photography.  Some require varying degrees of nudity. Also looking for a local (San Antonio only) model, female, and free weekday mornings to do occasional, last minute, "idea test" photo sessions, both non nude and nude and primarily in environment.  No compensation but will share time and help build your portfolio.

NOTE TO Professional Traveling Models:  I appreciate your contribution to the art, and welcome knowing when you'll be in the area.  However, it is unlikely that I will respond to a "Blast--I"m Available" message or post.  If I've worked with you before, you know how to contact me.  If you've not, then please reply with a private message with specific reference to one or more of my photos and your reasons for thinking we might work together.  Since I retired from my day job I am not able to offer traveling models adequate compensation more than a couple of times a year to make it worth your while.

Note to Retouchers:  I've received numerous friend requests from retouchers of late.  I don't use retouchers and don't accept FR's from them.  Don't bother asking and please don't clutter my profile with TAGS.
