Photography was my minor in college, but lately I've taken a bit of a hiatus in order to pursue other goals. However, I've been known to come back for a shoot here and there. Working with models is not my primary interest in photography, but I have a profound admiration of the female form. I enjoy the artistic beauty and suggestive lasciviousness that comes from shooting the subtly erotic.

I am admittedly an amateur level photographer, but I am always professional and courteous on a shoot. I consider my style and content tasteful and artistic, and will never ask a model to do something that will make her uncomfortable. I encourage pre-shoot meetings and conversations. I also welcome escorts, and will often use their assistance. However, if an escort's behavior begins to effect the dynamic of a shoot, that will be the end of it, and any fees agreed upon will be truncated or forfeited. I've never had anything like that happen before, but this kind of story is very common, and it's best to be prepared with a policy in place.

If I'm paying you; (or trading something that would otherwise cost one of us money) that makes me the customer, which means I'll be shooting for me, not necessarily for you. Of course, I'm happy to share the images, but if you're the one being compensated for your time, I don't want to be told what to shoot. I'm always respectful of boundaries, but please don't ask me to shoot something that you want, and then expect me to pay you on top of that.

Let's face it, there are plenty of intermediate models out there who are more than willing to shoot TFP for glamour, swimwear, and even lingerie and boudoir. I usually prefer to help them with their book than to pay for shots I already have in mine. I respect your time and experience, but if it's worth more to you than just the images, it's only fair to expect the same in return.
