About Me

My designs are not restraint/suspension garments but are designed to move with your body comfortably, whatever position you get yourself into. All fabrics that I use have some degree of stretch to them. All are hand made by me personally and have serged seams. I can custom make them to your measurements. (Most of my work is full custom garments.)

I am interested in doing TF* with female models and photographers. If negotiated in writing, I will give my product in exchange for the full release of the images for my usage (with no limitations and no copyright on them). I must accept the images in writing for my uses. The shots that I need are very basic in nature and more catalog-ish looking for hang tags and a catalog. The garment needs to be CLEARLY shown for these (NO HAIR dangling covering the garment!). No additional props for these shots unless provided by me.

I also need shots for posters that will be posted in stores and on a promotional website that can have a more free and artistic nature to them. For more artistic work, please open a discussion with me, I'd love to hear your ideas. I am TOTALLY open with working with honest and artistic folks.

No "pink" in any of the shots please. Nude breasts are ok but not required for what I need. As long as the garment design is CLEARLY shown, I'm ok with covering the nipples with hands or an arm. Let me reiterate...the garment design has to be visible (these are product shots -- if you don't know what that means, please don't contact me)!

If no images are released to me or are not suitable for my purposes and not approved by me in writing, my garments must be returned to me so this must be agreed to in writing prior to me sending anything out. Rights must be released to me for any and all of my uses IN WRITING. I expect high resolution images that are not soft in focus and my garments are NOT COVERED by long hair and that they are on right-side out. (Yes, this has happened already, wasting everyone's time). I do not wish to have a copyright on the image but I will give you credit wherever possible (print and web).

To ensure that we are on the same page, I will expect you to show me some work from your portfolio. Five or six pics from your port on here is not enough for me to send my product out to you. I'm not looking for "hobbyist" but creative professionals. I just recently had a very bad experience and now am out a few hundred dollars in product because a so-called "professional photographer" has STOLEN my product and given me NO PICTURES that are usuable. Then I was berated when when I contacted him 2 months later to find out how things were going.

I am very professional and I need to know you are a true professional as well. My time is worth money just as much as yours is and these bodycages are time consuming to make. Rather than dwelling on the couple bad experiences I've had from on here, I still want to work with good people and make beautiful images. If that's you, give me a shout. If it works out well, it can be an ongoing relationship and I will send out larger and more unique pieces for your usage as long as they are returned as new and promptly after the shoot (these larger pieces will never been given in trade). I need to know my time (and money) isn't going to be wasted. If the photographer "loses" my product or my product "gets stolen" from the photographer, you are responsible to compensate me the full retail value of my product (this is industry standard).

This is NOT an open-ended arrangement. If you cannot get the garments shot in the agreed upon time frame, they must be returned to me via COD. If you later arrange a model and wish to shoot and our relationship has been a positive one, I'll re-send the garments again, no problem. I cannot afford to have product sitting out there inactive. It's a one-woman show around here and I don't have a factory full of these garments.

Sorry to sound like a total bitch but obviously the details need to be spelled out for some. Work ethic, industry standard and simple courtesy mean nothing to some people out there. Being stolen from and taken advantage of sucks. This should be a smooth and fun experience for everyone involved. If it's not, why bother?

Cheers...

Steph

My history: I was an international fashion model for 15 years and worked with agencies all over Canada. Later years I focused more on fitness and nude modeling (which led to my current fashion ideas). I was a make-up artist and stylist for several local photographers. I am a hobby photographer and occasionally assist other professional photographers/videographers (fashion and sport). In my most recent years, my career has been in web design and programming. I have been involved in the fashion industry since I was 12 years old and have had an exciting career traveling the world.
