Below is the concept for an on-going, personal, non-commercial, work that I want to do:

********The expressive image as the embodiment of the Arts********

Option A (Family and General audience friendly ):

Scope of the shoot:
To create a few images which are extremely expressive, emotional, and powerful. This model’s look once seen must never be forgotten. The model must be able to breathe fire into the character that she is trying to become momentarily. She would need be able to cast a piercing look with the quality of fire-hardened steel. She must portray the look and expression of the woman who has seen it all and survived, and be able to represent primeval woman. She should be able to project the look of steel, and a heart of fire. It is preferable if the model is, indeed, a trail-blazer with a rebel-streak.

Culture:
It would be desirable if the photo-shoot used some expression of culture, literature, or history in a thematic sense as well as clothing (time period costume) and props, and thus the model would be playing a part like an actor, expressing delicate nuances of emotions and expression (consciously or sub-consciously) to complement and supplement the theme and that particular scene. A suggestion is the enactment of a poem, song, or piece of literature, history, or a time-period.

Implications on Art:
This work of art would be challenging the established norms, clichés, and ideals of beauty and expression in the fashion world, and redefining what is art, what is beautiful, and what is fashionable and glamorous. My intent is that each photograph must be an epic, speaking, not just thousands of words, but volumes. The model must be as bold and imaginative as the photographer who is going to render these images.

Usage:
This will be a totality of personal expression for both the photographer and the model, and as such it is a personal work and a form of personal expression, as well a a personal singular signature statement. The audience should be so moved as to say: “Now that’s what we call Art!”

Imagination:
The fire of imagination plays a very important role in a work such as this, for both the model, who in essence will be living the role that she is assuming, and becoming, and the photographer who will be challenged in trying to express, render, and immortalize this epic in 1/125th of a second, just a fleeting instant.

Location:
Can be discussed with the model, preferably outdoors.

Duration of shoot:
Between One to Two hours.

Compensation:
Since this is work of a personal nature for the portfolio of both the photographer and model and other individuals who volunteer, consideration will be in the form of digital images by e-mail or on CD for time volunteered.

Option B: (for adult models and audiences):

Same as above but the model should be very comfortable with her body and be able to express yourself and your sensuality, sexuality, eros, and desire with it, and be

interested in posing seductively and erotically (AND ALSO: Express: romantic, sensual, exhibitionism, fantasy, enactment of own fantasy As You Like It, tasteful artistic.
It would also be interesting to work with a mature model, as

well as models who wish to be photographed in some glamorous fetish aspect (eg. feet, hands or whatever fascinates them) and which they enjoy and want to share and display

through the truly artistic images.

Here are some ideas:

Glamorous: Full make-up, hair-do, mascara etc.

Costume: Past, present (rubber, latex, leather, nylon, ), future (sci-fi)

Lingerie / underwear

Bold and seductive: a. Mini (or micro) -dress ; b. Summer dress c. Dinner Dress d. Western / Americana e. Thong f. Micro-Bikini

Poses: Various - standing, sitting, lying down, bent-over, on back, sideways, arched back, frontals, back,

shot from top, shot from down, shot from waist level, fashion mag style poses...

Erotic (soft and artistic):

close-ups: Eyes, lips, neck, bust, knavel, crotch, hands, feet, erogenous zones

Expressions: Neutral, romantic, hot, seductive, relaxed, happy, smiling, inviting, teasing...

Props and accessories: Mask, Hat, Hair-band, Corset, gloves, boots (Phone / Computer / reading a book: in the moment look), The Chair, The bed, Flower / Flowers / Bouquet, Sunglasses, Belt ...

Activity: Dressing, undressing, posing...


ACTRESSES, ARTISTS, ENTERTAINERS, PERFORMERS, AND PROFESSIONALS ARE MOST WELCOME!

I see no need for yearning to go back to the days of yore, legend and lore, or the by-gone historic era of the shamans, sorcerers, wizards, magicians, sages, prophets, and other oppressors and repressors of self-expression and freedoms.


2 - 3 millenia later, the issue is whether to express or not to express oneself!

OPTION C:

i. Paparazzi style snap-shots.

ii. Photographic Biography (Documentary).

iii. Photographic expression of artistic self-expression.

iv. Posed/Staged selfies.

v. Any Bold / Radical / Revolutionary artistic expression by models who are first artists.

vi. Any artistic venture more about Presentation rather than re-presentation.

vii. Any imaginative exercise, or attempt, or endeavour seeking to break-free from Tradition, and Traditional, and traditionalist images of expression and self-expression by both the model, photographer, and artists.

OPTION D:

I. HIPPIE CHIC: Colour and/or Black & White with Earth Tone Colours shot in a 'dig'

II. DISCO DIVA: With Tight Bell bottom pants and platforms, ties shirt or blouse with peace sign

III. SHAKESPEARAN ACTRESS: My interpretation of PORTIA as a lesbian lawyer and another model as JESSICA in Victorian or Venetian style or dress and hair and colours and theme, in a study, or outdoors, say on Bay street in downtown Toronto.
